About Tipsy
Tipsy is free to use, but we are working on rolling out a premium subscription soon. While the free version has basic features to book a club, the premium subscription will give users access to more features and functionality and support from our team.
Yes, Tipsy is accessible throughout Australia. However, we are working to take it worldwide soon.
User Account
To edit your profile details, simply go to the profile section within the app and update your information accordingly. You can change your profile picture, name, phone number, email address, and other personal details as you see fit. Be sure to hit save when you're finished to reflect your changes in the app.
To log out of your Tipsy account, simply select the "Log Out" option from the list of options under your account name. This will sign you out of your account and take you back to the main page.
A user will not be able to delete his account. However, if you would like to delete your account from the app, you can contact our customer support and request to delete your account.
Booking a Club
You can reserve a club in a nearby location. Unfortunately, Tipsy only allows reservations for clubs listed in the app.
Yes, you can make a manual reservation for a slot at a listed club by calling the club managers directly.
Yes, you can book a club in advance for an entire day.
Tipsy can connect you to the managers of the clubes. So, if you have an issue at the venue, please contact the club managers directly.
When you reserve a new slot, you can view previous booking records on the booking screen.
Cancelations & Refund
Yes, you can cancel your reservation as long as it's done within 12 hours before the time of your reservation. This means there must be a 12-hour gap between a cancellation and a scheduled time slot. The cancellation button will then be disabled, and you won't be able to cancel or receive a refund.
Canceling your booking for a time slot is only allowed up to 12 hours prior to the reserved time. Once you have visited the club during your designated time slot, cancellation is no longer an option.
Payments
Advance payment is necessary to prevent instances where users reserve a time slot but fail to show up.
Yes, but you will still need to make an initial payment through the Tipsy app to reserve your time slot, even if you plan on paying in cash at the club.
You can use the appeal form available on the Tipsy app to raise a complaint ticket. Once this is done, you can show the ticket copy to the club owner.
To correct your booking mistake and claim a refund, follow these steps:
  • Step 1: Go to Booking screen in your dashboard.
  • Step 2: In Upcoming Booking screen go to booking which you want to cancel.
  • Step 3: Click on Edit button.
  • Step 4: In popup modal change booking status to CANCELLED from CONFIRM.
  • Step 5: Write cancellation reason if you want.
  • Step 6: Click on submit button
  • Step 7: Your booking has been cancelled. You receive your refund amount shortly.
Your sensitive personal information, such as credit card details, is not stored with us. All payment transactions are handled securely by Stripe, ensuring that you do not have to worry about deleting this information from the app.
We don't generate any invoices. Users and club managers can only view the booked slot details on the dashboard and application.
Listing a Playground
You can register your club on the website and add the club details from the dashboard.
We keep a 10% commission on every booking you get on your club through Tipsy.
You can withdraw payments by submitting a withdrawal request.
Once your club has been registered, you cannot remove it yourself. However, you can request our customer support to delist your club.
You can disable the listing of your club from the app.
If you have any complaints or concerns, you may reach out to our customer support team for assistance. If it is determined that the negative rating was given for personal gain, the team will take steps to have it removed.
